A2: Spirit Filled, Spirit Led Worship Experience

A2: Spirit Filled, Spirit Led Worship Experience

This class seeks to know and understand what the Bible teaches us about the person and work of the Holy Spirit. God is spirit and worship is spiritual; therefore, real worshippers are born of the Holy Spirit and led by the Holy Spirit in their worship of God. Our relationship with God the Holy Spirit is vital for living a life of worship and expressing genuine expressions of worship. Gain a clear understanding of what God says about the Holy Spirit and apply the doctrines we learn in everyday, real life.

A4: Chosen to Shift & Set the Atmosphere

Understanding the power of corporate unity in movement and the dancer's role and responsibility to anticipate, initiate, and cultivate His presence in a variety of settings both inside and outside the four walls. Students will learn how to flow with music directors, bands, and singers both spontaneously and prophetically--With or without music, stemming from the dancer's root relationship with the Holy Spirit. (Session Format: Lecture/Demonstration)
A5: Music As Warfare

A5: Music As Warfare

Spiritual worship and spiritual warfare should be carried out with singing. In 2 Chronicles 20 verse 19 when all the people fell down to worship, the choir stood up to sing. And in verse 21 when the people went out to meet the enemy, the choir went before them with songs of victory. Bring a new power to your fight of faith. Not everybody can perform. Not everybody can lead. Not everybody can read music or even stay on the right keys. But everybody can sing to God. We have two great weapons in worship: the word of God and song. So let us give heed to the Word of God and let us sing with all our heart.

Getting more control of your voice means increasing your vocal range, hitting higher notes, and gaining confidence. Learn how to use your vocal registers. Examine what are your singing issues and learn techniques to improve your voice.

B Sessions

B2: The Heart of a Worshipper

B2: The Heart of a Worshipper

Do you have the heart of a true worshiper? A true worshiper desires to know God and be in His presence. Learning to worship in Spirit and in truth is dependent upon the Holy Spirit and the truth of His word, shaping your heart and mind in responding to god. Explore the faithfulness of God, to be strengthened, and to yield to worship that is pleasing to the Father. Are you willing to ask the Lord to give you a heart for Him?
B3: Choir Decorum - "Is It Necessary or Not?"

B3: Choir Decorum - "Is It Necessary or Not?"

Do you love being in the choir, and want to be the best choir member you can be? Learn what you can do to be better? What are the characteristics that define great choir members? Most choirs hold a fairly significant standard and expect a strong commitment to the music ministry. Seek to find out how this can more specifically be defined. Asking how you can be better, positions you to get clarity on what it takes to be properly aligned to the mandates of God and maximize your commitment to the ministry of God. When you give leaders the right to speak into your life with appropriate boundaries, you are functioning well according to 1 Peter 5:5, which tells us to “submit to one another, and to be clothed with humility.” This session will clearly articulate to all what goals we should be striving for as we give ourselves wholly to the work of the Kingdom. We will learn how leaders set boundaries and engage singers and musicians in the vision God has established for us.
B4: Dance Composition: When Heaven & Earth Collide

B4: Dance Composition: When Heaven & Earth Collide

This class helps students visualize and arrange movement combinations through a vocabulary which is expansive, diverse, and parallel with the Word of God. Students will explore elements and principles of composing dances that are clear, substantive, developmental, and relevant. Students will gain understanding of the connection between humanity and the heavenlies through movement, while allowing themselves to tap into their own prophetic imagination. (Session Format: Lecture/Demonstration)
B5: Music to Set the Captive Free

B5: Music to Set the Captive Free

Music can influence your heart, your mind, your will and emotions. It can feed and fan the flames of the work of the Holy Spirit within. This class seeks to examine how to use music to encourage yourself and remind you that you were CHOSEN by God to bring forth his praise.
